You can expect the average lifespan of each series of Rheem water heaters to exceed the manufacturer’s warranty by more than 3 years. Here’s how long each series typically lasts:
- Rheem Xwell Series (XC & XS): Typically lasts around 11 years.
- Rheem EHG Series: Typically lasts around 8 years.
- Rheem RCY Series and Rheem RCY-30: Typically lasts around 8 years.

Why is my Rheem water heater not heating water?
