he homeowner of an HDB rental flat approached Homeone for an air-conditioning installation. We conducted a site assessment to determine the appropriate system, optimal positioning for the condenser unit, and the routing for the refrigerant piping.
Following the assessment, our Homeone engineering team reviewed the requirements and recommended installing a Mitsubishi System 3 split-type model, MXY-3H28VG, along with MSXY-FP20VG and MSXY-FP10VG indoor units. The Homeone management team then contacted the homeowner to present this solution, and, upon their approval, we commenced the installation.
The installation was carried out in compliance with BCA standards by our BCA-trained air-conditioning installers. The project was completed with the necessary Air-Conditioning Unit Installation Report for HDB Properties (Form AC-02).

1. Site Inspection and Planning
Our team conducts a thorough on-site inspection to assess the existing setup and determine optimal placement for the new units.
This stage ensures compliance with property regulations and identifies potential challenges in installation.
2. Mounting the Indoor Unit
The new indoor Mitsubishi cassette unit is securely mounted in the existing location.
Proper alignment and stability are checked to avoid any future performance issues or unnecessary wear.
3. Installing the Trunking and the Refrigerant Pipe
Installing trunking and refrigerant pipes is crucial for efficient aircon performance.
Technicians carefully lay insulated refrigerant pipes within protective trunking, securing them along walls.
This setup reduces heat loss, prevents leaks, and ensures seamless airflow for optimal cooling efficiency.
4. Installing the Outdoor Unit
Securely mounting an outdoor aircon unit with a sturdy bracket ensures stability and optimal airflow.
Proper alignment and bracket anchoring prevent vibrations and noise.
It is securely mounted to withstand environmental factors while maintaining compliance with property standards.
5. Connecting the Electrical Wires
All electrical connections are carefully made, following safety standards.
Our technicians ensure that wiring is secure and correctly configured to provide reliable power and control to the system.
6. Vacuuming the Refrigerant Line
After ensuring the refrigerant line is clear, the system is vacuumed to remove any remaining air and moisture.
7. Testing the System
Once installed, the entire system undergoes a series of tests to ensure it is functioning optimally.
Cooling performance, electrical safety, and pressure readings are verified to ensure all components are operating smoothly.
8. Documentation and Cleanup
Upon completion, we provide all necessary documentation, including warranty papers and BCA compliance forms.
The work site is thoroughly cleaned, leaving your property tidy and ready to enjoy your new air conditioning system.
