Replacement of a storage heater at a landed property at Highland Road.
Overview
Before
Existing Heater is Joven 50L JH50. It has been reported to cause tripping to the MCB and water is dripping onto the ceiling board, damaging it.
Due to suspected high electric bill and lower cost for a smaller tank, the owner has decided to change it to a 30L since there is no requirement for 50L.
It can be seen that the leak occurs at around the circuit compartment and heavily rusted tank.
The ceiling was cut in order for the tank to be removed since the access panel is not big enough.
After
Rheem EHG30 is used All pipe works connecting to the heaters are replaced with stainless steel. A new approved stop and double check valves are employed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification. Such will comply with PUB.
Our Licensed has supervised and approved the installation.
There is a 1-year warranty by Homeone for this installation on top of the warranty provided by Rheem.
